Why I write
I write because writing has become not only a hobby but also an innate skill developed from childhood! My first writing which I wrote about myself and my immediate environment at age 14 was in form of short story about my childhood experiences in Northern Nigeria which I titled ‘The Nigerian Child’!
My Experience
My early writings are centered around my family, my schools from the elementary to the universities and communities within Nigeria!
My Journey
I studied English literature with emphasis on poetry and drama! I teach also literature at the secondary and lectured same at the University. I write poetry and drama as well with academic publications! I have books published in poetry and fictional drama! I lectured creative writing as well.
My Goals
My goal is to keep writing and use my literary imaginative experience to touch lives, especially the youths and upcoming budding writers!
